Kolobrzeg

Kolobrzeg is one of the most picturesque cities of Western Pomerania, with a tradition spanning over a thousand years. The city is located on the Parsęta River, which flows into the waters of the Baltic Sea. The local microclimate and sea breezes provide natural healing benefits for the body. Winds blowing from the sea bring clean, iodine-rich air. The several-kilometre-long beach stretching across both the eastern and western parts of Kolobrzeg makes it even more attractive for tourists. The eastern part of the city is a spa and leisure district extending along the coastline. In summer, Kolobrzeg hosts numerous cultural, recreational-sporting, and entertainment events. The most famous include the annual International Folk Meetings, the Salt Fair, and the electronic music festival “Sunrise”.
